18K Champagne Old European Cut Diamond Band, Size 8.5

Circa 1930s

This is a beautiful 3 Old European Cut diamond ring with extraordinary champagne/ cognac colors. The ring has substantial gold all around, providing an added security for the diamonds. The diamonds were recently tightened by a professional jeweler, it is ready for immediate wear! The two side diamonds are a slightly deeper/cooler toned brown color than the center diamond. One of the side stones is slightly lighter in color than the other. The center stone is a warmer yellow brown color. All three diamonds are included but are not easily seen due to the setting.

Clarity characteristics are disclosed for transparency purposes and not because these detract from the diamonds’ beauty. Characteristics observed that may be seen with or without magnification are as follows:

• Left Diamond: Feather running through the lower crown facets. Natural skin left unpolished located to the table’s right side.
• Center Diamond: Feather appears to reach the girdle or just below.
• Right Diamond: Cavity and chip on girdle.

**Please note these observations were made with the diamonds in the setting under 10X magnification. Some features may have been missed. Photos shown are magnified for easy viewing.

Width is 7.7 mm and comes out about 2.75 mm. The shank is 2.5 mm wide comes out 0.9 mm.

Weight on my scale is 5.6 g. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.99 to 1.12 ctw based on measurement. Please note the side stones are quite wonky, several measurements were taken and averaged.

All measurements and clarity observations were made as long as the setting permitted.

There is an 18K stamp.

Size on my mandrel is an 8. Due to the width and oval shape it will fit an 8.25 to 8.5 best.
