About This Locket
Capture the essence of romance with this Art Nouveau Heart locket. Delicately adorned with iris flowers on the sides and a beautiful bella donna with a bun on the front, this locket also features small old single cut diamonds as an earring and choker. On the back, a hand-engraved "Elda y Roberto" pays homage to the beautiful city in Spain or a couple in love. The remnants of an acid wash (typical of the time) add a vibrant, rich gold color to this timeless piece.
Condition:
The pendant is in good antique condition. There are a few scratches on the gold and stones. The prongs are worn but still in good antique condition. A roman numeral XXVI (26) was carved inside on both sides. The acid wash has worn, giving the design more depth. It opens and closes seamlessly, allowing you to safely keep your mementos inside.
