Retro Old European Cut Diamond and Ruby Screw Back Earrings, 14K

About These Earrings:

These Vintage Retro Diamond and Ruby Earrings are crafted in 14K rose gold and platinum, showcasing five old European cut diamonds and one transitional, accented by 8 natural rubies. Perfect for any feminine and sentimental style, with convenient screw backs for a secure fit and can be easily converted for pierced ears. Classic 1940s ribbon design adds a touch of vintage glam to any outfit.

Condition:

The earrings are in good vintage condition. The solder used to attach the screws to the earrings has changed color over time and is visible from the back. The rubies have small abrasions. One ruby is an old synthetic replacement that likely occurred during these earrings early life stages. The white metal tests as platinum but it can also be palladium since this metal tests similar and was common during the 1940s.
