Vintage Single Cut Stacking Band, Size 6.5
Circa 1920s to 1930s
Budget friendly art deco single cut diamond stacking band. There are 7 single cut diamonds, a couple have some chips. The center diamond has a chip on the cult that reflects throughout the stone, making it look whiter than the rest. Some of the diamonds have a brown hue, one being stronger than the rest. It can easily be spotted next to the center (white) diamond. The prongs have been professionally tightened, but they are worn due to normal wear and tear, care when wearing is advised. The shoulders are the widest part of the ring and stand out the most. This band is the perfect budget friendly skinny stacker. If you are looking for an Art Deco piece that does not break the bank, this is the ring for you!
Width is 1.87 mm to 2.61mm and comes out 1.2mm to 2.05mm.
The diamonds are about 0.9mm in diameter.
Weight on my scale is 1.6g.
There is an 18K stamp, but the gold tests as 14K. There are signs of previous sizing.
Size on my mandrel is a 6.25, but it is slightly oval and should fit a 6.5 better.
